Yet another craft brewery is set to open near Charlotte in coming months. This one, Stout Brewing Co., which will locate itself in Kings Mountain will be a $6 million dollar build out in Cleveland County (518 N. Sims St to be exact).
No one can deny the rise of the craft beer movement. However, Charlotte sure is becoming a nice little mecca of craft beer breweries all of a sudden. Areas of town like NODA and others are having breweries pop up one after another.
Charlotte is not even close to Asheville in regards to the amount or popularity of local breweries, but hopefully with the business opportunities here and the people in Charlotte eager for new taste, we just might be riding their coat tails.
I think it might be time for some cool brewery tour events. Stay tuned for more information on that.
