I hate to think about the Summer Season ending, but all of the new events that keep popping up for Fall are hyping me up for the impending colder weather.
BB&T BallPark has just announced their inaugural Charlotte Beerfest, which will be held Sept. 20 at the new Charlotte Knight’s conveniently located uptown ballpark. The late September event will show off top selections from all of the Charlotte area as well as North Carolina.
Chris Boukedes, executive director of the Charlotte Beerfest, says in a news release. “The North Carolina region has distinguished itself as home to some 25 locally brewed craft beers, and we’re proud to celebrate this culture of craftsmanship and artisan brewing at the inaugural Charlotte Beerfest.”
We love the breweries’ philosophy, which is based on “co-opetition”. In other words, they love to support each other, but love a little friendly competition. That’s what keeps the breweries pushing to make different flavors of beer that keeps them getting better and better right?
Tickets cost $50 for general admission or $100 for VIP admission, and both include unlimited beer sampling and live entertainment by Blues Traveler, Simplified and Charity Case. VIP guests will get expedited entry at the gates, access to an exclusive hospitality area and swag bags, among other benefits. Additional information and tickets for purchase in advance are available at www.charlottebeerfest.com.
Between the Charlotte Beerfest and the November 1st Harvest Fest, I never thought I’d say this…but I’m looking forward to Fall!1 Posts
